The 40-year-old former child star, who has pivoted her career to music, surprised fans just five days earlier by releasing a new single titled Girlfriend. The track, featuring artists Zabba and Fenix Flexin, debuted online shortly after it was revealed she had signed with the distribution platform Create Music Group.
After the song's release, Bynes emerged in Los Angeles with a bold new look, swapping her signature platinum blonde hair for raven locks. She was seen on Friday wearing a casual grey hoodie, navy shorts that highlighted her slender legs, and a pair of UGGs, with her dark hair swept back to reveal dyed blue eyebrows.

Bynes, who disclosed in December that she had lost 28 pounds with the assistance of Ozempic, has been open about her weight loss journey. She previously shared on social media that she used to weigh 180 pounds but had successfully reduced to 152 pounds, expressing pride in her progress despite feeling she still had more to achieve.
In June of last year, she announced she was starting Ozempic, joining a trend of weight loss injectables popular in the entertainment industry. By November, she reported losing 20 pounds, with a goal to shed an additional 50 pounds to reach her desired weight.
Speaking to fans via Instagram Stories, Bynes detailed her experience, noting she had initially gained weight on the Ozempic pill before switching to the injection, which helped her drop from 180 to 163 pounds. She attributed a previous 20-pound weight gain to depression and revealed her ultimate goal is to return to her teenage weight of 110 pounds.
