Gigi Hadid appeared visibly slimmer at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City on Wednesday evening, marking her return to the runway after welcoming a child with Zayn Malik in 2020. The 30-year-old model wore a bright pink bra top and boy-style underwear with a large rose cape, later changing into an all-white silk camisole and shorts with quilted Angel wings.
Hadid, who is dating Bradley Cooper, looked confident as she smiled and blew kisses to the audience. However, she recently revealed that her first Victoria's Secret show in 2015 made her feel 'insecure'. In a video shared on Instagram on October 10, she became emotional while discussing the pressure of walking the runway, saying she 'just wanted it so bad' and that the world was 'hard on her'.
She reflected on her journey, stating that while she initially doubted herself, she now looks back and thinks 'I was the s***'. Hadid acknowledged that her body type was different from other models and that she had to work hard to improve her walk. She credited her confidence and the fashion industry's readiness for change for her success.
The show, which returned in 2025 after a hiatus, featured other models including Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Hadid had previously walked in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2024, missing only the 2017 show.
