Samuel represents the youngest of three children Affleck shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he was married from 2005 to 2018. This public appearance marks Affleck's first sighting since his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez made recent comments about their divorce. Earlier this month, Lopez opened up about her new chapter as a single woman during an interview with Juju Chang on Nightline.

When asked if she was actively dating, the 56-year-old entertainer responded emphatically: 'No! No I'm not! God forbid, I don't want to ruin anything. It's so nice right now. I'm so happy. It's the best. I just feel really good right now.'
Lopez further admitted that being single 'was a scary thing for me when I was younger' and that she had always been 'really afraid to be alone.' The couple's marriage, which began in 2022 after rekindling their romance during the COVID-19 pandemic, ended in divorce in 2024, with finalization occurring in January 2025.
