Beyoncé fans have been sent into a frenzy, convinced the singer will announce her new rock album in a tribute to Prince at next week's Met Gala, which she is co-chairing. The 44-year-old songstress has long been rumoured to be releasing a rock-inspired album as Act III of her trilogy, following Renaissance (dance) and Cowboy Carter (country).

Potential Move to France

It comes following news that Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were reportedly eyeing a lavish 16th-century chateau in the French wine region of Bordeaux. The power couple, believed to be worth a whopping $2.8 billion, were initially thought to be relocating to the Cotswolds before plans for a UK estate were scuppered due to flooding risks. Now, they have set their sights on a chateau boasting 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms, ample space for them, daughter Blue Ivy (14), and eight-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter. The couple are fans of the region, having celebrated Jay-Z's 54th birthday there in December 2023.

A source said: 'Everyone is talking about Beyoncé and Jay-Z moving to the area. It's all been shrouded in secrecy, with local businesses and tradespeople forced to sign non-disclosure agreements, but theirs are the names on everyone's lips.' The source told The Sun that a job description had been placed on a local notice board seeking an experienced property manager working with VIP clients, requiring 'absolute discretion'. Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment.

It was previously reported that the couple were considering a move to the UK after Los Angeles was devastated by wildfires last year. Their 58-acre plot in the Cotswolds, worth £7.5 million, had planning permission for a seven-bedroom 'spectacular rural estate'.
