Coleen Nolan left the Loose Women panel and studio audience gasping after making a personal swipe at co-star Janet Street-Porter during Tuesday's episode. The 60-year-old commented on Janet's multiple marriages while discussing how to end a relationship.
Janet, 78, shared a story about breaking up with a fiancé after meeting another man, admitting she had never been on the receiving end of a breakup. Coleen retorted: 'You don't know how it feels then, that's how you can do it easily.'
When Janet advised getting in first, Coleen fired back: 'Maybe if you'd spoken a bit more and discussed a bit more, you wouldn't have been onto your fourth marriage.' The comment drew gasps from the panel and audience.
Anchor Charlene White stepped in, saying: 'I think it's probably safe we end things there and move on to getting things married! Forget fine china, I could see where that was going, it's the afternoon...'
Janet has been married four times, with her longest marriage lasting eight years. She has been in a long-term relationship with entrepreneur Peter Spanton since 1999.
