Dan Edgar, star of TOWIE, has reportedly found love again with former cast member Chloe Lewis, following an awkward reunion with his ex-girlfriend Ella Rae Wise. The 35-year-old reality personality, who joined the ITV show in 2015, is said to have started dating Chloe approximately three months after his split from Ella.
Awkward Reunion in Vietnam
The former couple, Dan and Ella, were thrown together while filming the new series of TOWIE in Vietnam. Despite Dan denying any flirtation, Ella has openly admitted she still harbours feelings for him. Dan told Closer magazine: 'The stuff with Ella is a lot more recent, so naturally, it's not ideal being away with your ex. It came to light that she was still quite upset about a lot of stuff. It's not nice, I don't like seeing anyone upset. It was a tough situation to be in.'
Dan's New Relationship
Dan confirmed he is now with someone else, adding: 'I'm with someone else now and to be out there and see someone else (Ella) upset and still trying to manage a friendship. It was all new ground to try and navigate.' The new romance reportedly blossomed at Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet's second wedding in Majorca. Dan praised Chloe, who was on TOWIE between 2015 and 2019, saying: 'She's very understanding and very grown up as a person anyway. She's done the show before and she's understanding of how it all works.'
Ella's Perspective
Ella ended her relationship with Dan before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house last year, noting that they couldn't 'just be together because we have a great sex life.' Despite the split, she has admitted to still having feelings for Dan, which has made the reunion in Vietnam particularly challenging.
Dan made it clear there is 'no sign' of Chloe returning to the show, stating: 'I'm happy with how it is at the moment and it being separate. I'm in a good place with it all. Things are going well at the moment.' TOWIE airs Sundays and Mondays on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.
