Dr. Dre, the 61-year-old billionaire rap mogul, was spotted holding hands with Michelle Saniei, a star from Bravo's The Valley, during a sushi date at Nobu Malibu on Saturday. The couple was photographed leaving the upscale Japanese restaurant and getting into a black Mercedes SUV together.
This public outing is not their first; Saniei, 37, a real estate agent, previously accompanied Dr. Dre to the Semafor World Economy 2026 conference in Washington, D.C., on April 16. During the five-day global leadership event, she was seated beside the music producer, whose real name is Andre Young. The conference also featured speakers such as Dr. Dre's Beats partner Jimmy Iovine, Senator Susan Collins, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and controversial figures like Steve Bannon and Howard Lutnick.
On Saturday, the Bravo celebrity, who has 148,000 social media followers, shared a coy video of a bouquet of white roses intertwined with two darker blooms. Saniei has previously been in a relationship with her The Valley castmate Aaron Nosler, a Thrivent financial advisor. Their year-long relationship ended last July when Nosler allegedly broke up with her, citing a desire for a "fitness girl." Saniei admitted on the April 1 After Show, "It's the first time anyone has ever broken up with me. I usually do the breaking up."
Saniei has a six-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny Lally, from her five-year marriage to another The Valley castmate, Jesse Lally. The couple's divorce was finalized on October 23 at BravoCon in 2024. She explained their custody arrangement: "Jesse and I split Isabella. We switch weekends."
Dr. Dre was previously linked to actress Apryl Jones from 2020 to 2022, following his $100 million divorce from Nicole Plotzker-Young in 2021. That same year, he spent two weeks in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering a brain aneurysm and three strokes. He has three children from his 24-year marriage to Plotzker-Young: son Truice, 28, daughter Truly, 24, and adopted stepson Tyler, 34. The marriage ended in 2020 amid allegations of verbal violence and infidelity, which Dre denied. In a 2015 interview with the New York Times, he apologized for past violence against women, stating, "I'm doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again."
Dr. Dre has fathered seven more children with five other women. He has an estranged relationship with some of his older children, including his eldest son Curtis, 44, whom he didn't meet until Curtis turned 20. He also has daughters LaTanya, 43; LaToya, 41; Ashley, 40; Tyra, 41; and sons Marcel, 35, and the late Andre Jr., who died at 20 from an overdose. Since 2010, Dre has been working on his long-delayed instrumental album, The Planets. His last studio album, Compton, was released in 2015, but he still draws 23.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has sold over 15 million records worldwide. The Emmy-winning producer first gained fame with the gangsta rap group N.W.A, which he co-founded in 1987.
