Ivanka Trump Stuns in Sky-Blue Gown at State Dinner

Ivanka Trump captivated onlookers in a timeless pastel maxi dress as she attended the state dinner on Tuesday evening. The mother of three made a rare appearance in Washington, D.C., as part of King Charles and Queen Camilla's continued state visit.

She joined her family at the White House for the formal festivities hosted by her father, President Donald Trump, and stepmother, Melania Trump. The 44-year-old, who previously relocated from D.C. to Miami, stunned in a sky-blue gown featuring mesh long sleeves, a cape, and silver embellishments around the cuffs, waist, and neckline.

Ivanka wore her bleached blonde tresses in curls, swept over one shoulder as she posed for photographs. She opted for a bold makeup look with a dark smokey eye, which the Daily Mail understands was created by her long-time beauty stylist Alexa Rodulfo. Ivanka teased her ensemble to her 8.8 million Instagram followers before making her way to the event.

Her most recent political appearance was at the State of the Union in February, but she was noticeably absent from the premiere of stepmother Melania's feature film just a few weeks prior. Over the years, rumors of a rift between Ivanka and Melania have persisted, especially after Trump's election in 2016. However, the First Lady addressed the speculation in her 2024 memoir, Melania, opening up about her relationship with her stepchildren.

When Melania married Donald Trump in January 2005, he already had four children from previous marriages: Ivanka, Donald Jr. (48), Eric (42), and Tiffany (32). Melania and Donald welcomed their only child together, Barron (19), in 2006. Melania wrote: 'Stepping into a marriage with Donald, I found myself navigating the intricate dynamics of his big family. It demanded flexibility and openness, but each moment was a chance to connect, learn, and grow in this new environment.'

She explained that by the time she married Trump, many of his children were already 'more independent,' and Tiffany, in her 'formative years,' was living with her mother in California. 'My approach to building relationships with Donald's children has always been grounded in love and respect,' Melania continued. 'I recognize their individuality, understanding that, as their stepmother, my role is not to replace their mothers but to nurture a supportive and amicable connection. This perspective has enabled me to cultivate meaningful relationships with each child in a unique way.'

Ivanka appears to remain close with her siblings. Earlier this month, she attended Bettina Anderson's bridal shower ahead of her nuptials to Don Jr. Sharing pictures on Instagram, Ivanka wrote: 'Celebrated love, family, and new beginnings at Bettina's bridal shower this weekend. So grateful to share in this joyous moment with Arabella, Lara, and Tiffany (and of course Don Jr!)'
