Jordan Brook, a star from the reality television show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), has shared a heartfelt health update with his fans after spending 10 days in hospital due to swelling on the brain. He described this ordeal as the 'hardest battle' he has ever faced, highlighting the severity of his condition.
Details of Jordan Brook's Hospitalisation and Health Struggle
Jordan Brook was rushed to hospital after experiencing symptoms related to brain swelling, and he has since been undergoing multiple tests and procedures to determine the root cause. In a social media post, he wrote: 'Day 10 in hospital. Hardest battle I've ever fought. Family is everything. Praying and hoping. Meds up. Brain is showing continued issues, swelling and pain.' This update underscores the ongoing challenges he faces as medical professionals work to address his condition.
His pregnant girlfriend, Sophie Kasaei, who has been dating Jordan for three years, has been unable to visit him in hospital due to the risks involved. She explained: 'It’s been a tough two weeks for our family. Seeing Jordan so poorly has been hard but he is getting there and will get better. It’s going to take time but he is so strong and he’s getting through knowing he’s going to be an amazing dad and that moment is coming.' Sophie added that she and their unborn baby are staying strong, praying for his recovery, and looking forward to his return home.
Awaiting Medical Results and Family Support
Jordan Brook is currently awaiting results from a recent procedure, which he admitted has been a 'really scary' time. He stated: 'I’m awaiting results from a procedure once we get them more will be cleared up - what we do know is I have confirmed inflammation and swelling of the brain. A really scary time that reassures you we are all human.' Despite the uncertainty, he remains hopeful about resting up and eventually returning home to Sophie and their baby.
Sophie has also asked fans and well-wishers not to worry if they cannot reach Jordan on his phone, as he is mostly sleeping due to pain and medication. She said: 'Jordan is still in the hospital and we are still waiting for answers whilst he is getting treatment and medication. If people are trying to contact him he’s unable to use his phone at the moment as he’s in pain and is mostly sleeping.' His family is providing support at his bedside, ensuring he is not alone during this difficult period.
The couple, who are expecting a baby in the coming months, have expressed gratitude for the messages of love and support from fans. Sophie concluded: 'Thank you for all your messages, means a lot. We are all staying positive and every day is a day closer to being back as a family.' This health battle has brought them closer together, with Jordan focusing on recovery to become a father soon.
