Katie Price's Dubai Ambitions: Sixth Child Plans Amid Husband's Extended Stay
Katie Price has unveiled fresh ambitions for her life in Dubai, mere weeks after her surprise wedding to businessman Lee Andrews, an event that stunned her inner circle, including her children. The former glamour model, 47, tied the knot with Andrews, 45, in a swift ceremony at Dubai's luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel in January, shortly after parting ways with Married at First Sight star JJ Slater.
Dubai Relocation and Family Dynamics
Following the nuptials, Price briefly returned to the UK to visit her five children, while Andrews stayed behind in Dubai to house-hunt for the couple. It is reported that he has yet to meet any of Price's offspring, remaining in the Middle Eastern city since their wedding. Sources indicate that Price has already put down a deposit on a property in Dubai and signed a contract, solidifying her relocation plans.
Surrogate Plans for a Sixth Child
Now, Price is setting her sights on expanding her family, with aspirations to become a mother for the sixth time. Andrews has fueled pregnancy rumours on Instagram, and a source close to the couple revealed to Closer magazine: "Katie has twins on her bucket list and Lee wants them too. She wants to give Lee a baby to prove their love to everyone, but she will have to go through a surrogate as she said her body isn't up to carrying a child." The source added that Price still has eggs and plans to consult top doctors in Dubai to pursue this goal, noting her long-standing desire for twins.
Fertility Struggles and Past Heartbreak
Price has been open about her fertility challenges. In 2023, she documented her attempts to conceive via IVF in a Channel 4 series, Katie Price: Making Babies, which highlighted dwindling hormone levels and egg supply. Despite this, she has consistently expressed a wish for more children. In late 2024, she and then-partner JJ Slater experienced a miscarriage, which Price described as a journey from "joy and relief" to "confusion, heartbreak and sadness." She is currently mother to Harvey, 23, Junior Andre, 20, Princess Andre, 18, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11.
Family Concerns and Allegations Against Andrews
While Price has received support from friend Kerry Katona, her family is reportedly worried due to rumours surrounding Andrews' past. Several ex-partners have come forward with serious allegations, labelling him a "liar, narcissist, and a manipulator" and urging Price to "run for the hills." It has also been claimed that Andrews spent three weeks in prison over allegations of fraudulently forging an ex's signature on a £200,000 mortgage application, though he denies these accusations.
Price's Defiant Stance
Amid the backlash, Price remains resolute in her decisions. She stated: "I’m 48 this year, I’m not a young kid. I've learned a lot in the past few years, through therapy and learning to love myself. So I'm not stupid, I know what I’m doing and if I'm happy that's all that matters. I will do what I want to do." The source added that Price has "no expectations" of the marriage lasting long-term, viewing it as a fun endeavour while aiming to be a "powerhouse couple" with Andrews.
As Price forges ahead with her Dubai life and family plans, the absence of her husband in the UK continues to raise eyebrows, blending personal ambition with ongoing familial concerns.
