Kelly Brook Rejects Weight Loss Jab After Doctor's 'Insane' Suggestion

Kelly Brook has revealed that her doctor suggested she try the weight loss drug Mounjaro ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, a proposal she described as 'insane'. The 45-year-old model and Loose Women panellist discussed the incident on Elizabeth Day's How To Fail podcast.

Brook said: 'I was offered Mounjaro literally last week from my doctor. Isn’t that insane? I said, what do I need that for? He said: “Everyone’s on it,” and I’m like: “Well I’m not...”' Mounjaro is a prescription medication approved for type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight conditions.

The TV star, who has previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Race Across the World, expressed her love for her body and curves. 'I absolutely love my body. And I did a marathon this year and I’m 45 years old. My body has got me through so many things and I just love my curves. My husband loves my curves. I just think it’s unfortunate that women feel the need to change who they are,' she added.

Brook admitted to having Botox but said she is 'really precious' about her body and does not feel the need for weight loss injections. She will enter the jungle alongside Jack Osbourne, Martin Kemp, Lisa Riley, Shona McGartey and Aitch when the ITV show returns on Sunday, November 16, at 9pm.
