Kelly Osbourne Shares Heartwarming Clip with Son After Confronting Body-Shaming Trolls
Kelly Osbourne Posts Sweet Video with Son Sidney Amid Troll Backlash

Kelly Osbourne has shared a heartwarming video with her young son Sidney, offering a glimpse of family warmth after publicly addressing hurtful body-shaming trolls. The television personality, aged 41 and daughter of the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, posted the sweet clip to her Instagram Story on Thursday, showcasing a tender moment with her toddler.

A Morning of Love and Support

In the video, Kelly can be seen sitting comfortably on a bed alongside three-year-old Sidney, whom she shares with her partner, DJ and keyboard player Sid Wilson. With a bright smile, Kelly greets the camera by saying, "Good morning," a phrase that Sidney eagerly repeats. She then encourages him, saying, "Say I love you," before adding warmly, "We love you guys, good morning, good morning, good morning." Sidney joyfully echoes her cheerful chant, and Kelly concludes by smiling affectionately at her son and declaring, "You're the best Sidney."

Standing Up Against Online Cruelty

This wholesome family moment comes in the wake of Kelly's recent confrontation with "cruel" body-shaming trolls who targeted her appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards over the weekend. Kelly attended the prestigious event in Manchester on Saturday evening to accept a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July. While the evening was meant to celebrate her father's legacy, Kelly faced a barrage of negative online comments about her looks.

After initially speaking out over the weekend, Kelly amplified her stance on Monday by sharing a supportive post from Mia Tyler, the 47-year-old daughter of Aerosmith star Steve Tyler. Mia's impassioned message, captioned "How hard is it to not be a d**k?", included a lengthy statement defending Kelly. It read in part: "Public grief is not public property. Grief can change a person. That doesn't make their body a topic for debate... Before you comment on someone's body, consider the possibility that they're carrying something heavier than your opinion..."

A Message of Resilience and Kindness

The statement continued, emphasizing the strength required to appear publicly while grieving and calling for kindness over cruelty. It noted, "It takes real strength to stand in the public eye accepting accolades for their late iconic father and hold themselves together in front of the world... The least we can do is show the same grace in return. Kindness costs nothing. Cruelty costs character."

Kelly herself responded immediately after the BRIT Awards, stating, "There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something... Kicking me while I'm down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most... None of it proves strength, it only reveals a profound absence of character." She added, "I'm currently going through the hardest time of my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way."

This incident is not the first time Kelly has faced body-shaming; she had previously hit back at trolls who criticised her recent weight loss ahead of her BRIT Awards appearance. Through her actions and words, Kelly Osbourne continues to advocate for compassion and resilience in the face of online negativity, while cherishing precious moments with her son Sidney.
