Kelly Osbourne Visits Father Ozzy's Grave Amid Family Transitions
Kelly Osbourne Visits Ozzy's Grave as Sharon Moves to US

Kelly Osbourne laid a vibrant bouquet of flowers at the grave of her late father, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, during a visit to the family's Buckinghamshire estate on Friday. The 41-year-old television personality, who has been grieving since her father's passing last year, shared poignant images from the visit on her Instagram Stories.

Emotional Tribute at Private Burial Ground

One photo showed a colourful floral arrangement resting on Ozzy's final resting place within the private grounds of Welders House, a Grade II listed building originally purchased by Ozzy and his wife Sharon in 1993. Another image captured the estate's lakeside floral display that boldly spells out "Ozzy f*****g Osbourne" in blooming flowers.

Kelly captioned her post with the heartfelt words: "Spent some time with my daddy this morning!" This emotional tribute comes as Kelly continues to face unwarranted criticism about her appearance from online trolls following her father's death.

Sharon Osbourne's Heartbreaking Decision

Meanwhile, Kelly's mother Sharon Osbourne has made the difficult decision to begin splitting her time between the United Kingdom and the United States. After spending the Christmas holidays in Los Angeles with her children and grandchildren, Sharon plans to divide her year evenly between her UK home and a new apartment in Los Angeles.

According to sources speaking to The Sun, Sharon expects to spend "half the year at least" on America's West Coast, with some suggesting this arrangement could become permanent within a couple of years. The move is partly motivated by her desire to be closer to her five grandchildren - Jack's daughters Pearl, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora and Maple Artemis, and Kelly's son Sidney.

Ozzy's Final Resting Place and Last Wishes

Ozzy Osbourne, who died of heart failure on July 22 at age 76, was buried on the Buckinghamshire property he and Sharon purchased three decades ago. The Black Sabbath frontman had always expressed his wish to return to England to die, despite having lived in Los Angeles for twenty years during the height of his fame.

The couple's three children - Aimee, Jack and Kelly - along with their grandchildren have all returned to their homes in Los Angeles following Ozzy's burial. Sharon, who built her career alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh on The X Factor, maintains significant professional and personal connections in Los Angeles where the family's hit reality show "The Osbournes" was filmed from 2002 to 2005.

Renovations for Ozzy's Care and Unfinished Plans

As Ozzy's health declined in recent years, Sharon had undertaken extensive renovations to their UK property to accommodate his increasing medical needs. The improvements included a rehabilitation wing to help him walk again, a nurse's flat for round-the-clock care, a health and wellness exercise studio, an art studio room, and a pool house orangery complete with spa facilities.

To ensure privacy during Ozzy's recovery, a 2.4-meter high fence was installed around the property and CCTV surveillance was upgraded. The couple had been planning a return to England in 2024 for a ten-part reality series called "Home To Roost" documenting their homecoming, but Ozzy's health prevented this from happening as planned.

They did manage to return to England last summer in time for Ozzy's final Black Sabbath reunion concert at Villa Park stadium in Birmingham, where he performed alongside original band members Tony Iommi, Terence 'Geezer' Butler and Bill Ward just two weeks before his death.

Sharon's First Valentine's Without Ozzy

Last month, Sharon marked her first Valentine's Day without her husband of over forty years with an emotional Instagram tribute. She posted a photograph of their hands clasped together, captioning it simply: "Forever Valentine," accompanied by an infinity symbol emoji.

The businesswoman and television personality had been married to the rock legend since 1982, creating one of entertainment's most enduring partnerships. Their Beverly Hills home in the prestigious Hancock Park neighbourhood, where "The Osbournes" was primarily filmed, was put on the market with an $18 million asking price as Ozzy's health deteriorated.

Kelly Osbourne's visit to her father's grave represents both a personal moment of remembrance and a public acknowledgment of the ongoing grief process for the famous family as they navigate life without their patriarch while managing transatlantic family commitments and personal challenges.
