Kim Kardashian's Blonde Wig on The Fifth Wheel Set

Kim Kardashian has been spotted undergoing a dramatic blonde transformation on the set of the upcoming Netflix comedy film, The Fifth Wheel. The 45-year-old multi-hyphenate star was nearly unrecognizable while wearing a shoulder-length blonde wig, a style famously favored by Australian actress Nicole Kidman for red carpet appearances.

A Striking New Look

The reality television icon and business mogul parted her new blonde hairdo on the side, complementing it with a sophisticated all-white ensemble. Kardashian wore a low-cut minidress featuring a pleated skirt, layered with a buttoned blazer that cinched her waist and subtly highlighted her cleavage.

She accessorized the look with a black scarf adorned with white polka dots tied around her throat, completing the outfit with elegant pointy-toed heels. Joining her on the film set was her costar, comedian Fortune Feimster, who is also 45 years old.

Channeling Hollywood Glamour

Kardashian appears to be giving Nicole Kidman serious competition as the queen of wigs, with the Australian actress regularly covering her natural hair with various hairpieces during high-profile events. Earlier this month, Kardashian was seen working on the movie at a Las Vegas casino, showcasing her toned physique in a red crop top and matching lace-up trousers.

The Fifth Wheel began filming in Los Angeles back in February and follows the story of a group of best friends from high school who attempt to reconnect during a weekend trip to Las Vegas. According to the official synopsis, "When a hot outsider (played by Kardashian) crashes the weekend, they're forced to face their messy lives, bad decisions and unraveling friendships."

Star-Studded Cast and Production

The comedy features an impressive ensemble cast including renowned comedians Will Ferrell, Jack Whitehall, Casey Wilson, Nikki Glaser, and Brenda Song. Kardashian, Ferrell, and director Eva Longoria all hold producer credits on the film, with insiders previously telling Deadline that they expect Kardashian to be very hands-on with the movie's marketing campaign.

This marks Kardashian's first-ever leading role in a feature film, coming nearly two decades after her acting debut in the 2008 spoof Disaster Movie. She has since appeared in Ocean's Eight (2018) and Tyler Perry's 2013 film Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor, while also lending her voice to the character Delores in two animated PAW Patrol movies.

Building on Recent Success

Kardashian most recently starred in Ryan Murphy's legal drama series All's Fair on Hulu alongside Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash. The show has been renewed for a second season after being viewed more than 3.2 million times since its premiere on November 4, 2025, with viewers describing it as glamorous and silly escapism.

Throughout her wide-ranging career, Kardashian has demonstrated a remarkable knack for branding and marketing, skills that are expected to significantly benefit The Fifth Wheel's promotional efforts. The film represents another major step in her evolving entertainment career as she continues to expand her presence beyond reality television and business ventures.
