Lewis Capaldi has opened up about his infamous kiss on the lips with fellow hitmaker Harry Styles at the BRITs in 2023. The Scottish singer, 29, spoke about the surprise smooch during an interview with Caleb Simpson this week as he recalled the former One Direction star's 'lovely lips.'

Capaldi said: 'It was a lovely little thing. I didn't know it was going to happen,' to which Simpson replied: 'There was consent in the eyes.' Capaldi went on: 'There was consent, I could see it. He's the one who gestured to me from across the room.'
He also admitted that he used to mention the kiss in his online dating profiles to impress women, before confirming that he is now single. 'I'm not seeing anyone. Single. I'm no longer on the dating sites. People are getting offline,' he said.
Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz Engaged
Meanwhile, Styles and Zoe Kravitz are reportedly engaged after eight months of dating. The hitmaker, 32, and the Batman star, 37, are set to tie the knot according to Page Six, with a source sharing that Styles 'is completely smitten' with her. 'He would jump off a cliff for her,' the insider said. Kravitz is said to be 'on cloud nine.'
The source added that 'no one in their circle is surprised' about the engagement. The pair recently fueled rumors of an engagement after Kravitz was pictured flashing a large diamond ring on her finger earlier this week.
This marks Styles's first engagement. Kravitz was previously married to actor Karl Glusman, 38. The pair wed in 2019 before divorcing in 2021. She was also engaged to actor Channing Tatum, 45, but they split in October 2024 after three years together.

Earlier this week, the two sparked rumors when she was wearing a large diamond ring while he kissed her goodbye during her visit to the UK. Styles enjoyed a romantic outing with the American actress in London, where she sported a chunky gold band.
In December last year, Kravitz wore the same ring on her left hand, first sparking speculation they had taken their relationship to the next level. In snaps taken on Tuesday, Styles visited Kravitz at her hotel in Hampstead in the capital, and the pair held hands on their coffee date.
Styles and Kravitz were first spotted holding hands last August, then a month later they were pictured out with her father Lenny Kravitz, suggesting their relationship was getting serious. Despite their best attempts to keep the relationship out of the spotlight, the couple have since been observed on a number of date nights from London and Rome to Brooklyn.
Styles recently said he had to have a 'real, honest conversation' with himself as to where he saw himself in five years after watching three of his closest friends get married.
