Mariah Carey's Twins Share Sweet Sibling Snaps & Rare Family Insight
Mariah Carey's twins Moroccan and Monroe share Instagram snaps

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's teenage twins, Moroccan and Monroe, delighted their Instagram followers this week with a charming exchange of sibling photographs.

Sibling Bond on Display

The 14-year-olds, affectionately known as 'Dem Teens', took to their respective social media grids on Monday to share fun, coordinated snaps. Moroccan posted a stylish black-and-white grid photo, posing in a black hooded jumper with star-shaped patches on his face.

His sister Monroe was quick to comment on his post, writing playfully: 'Wait, why is it giving dad lookalike'. Monroe also updated her own grid with a playful photobooth picture of herself sticking her tongue out.

The post attracted attention from fellow celebrity offspring, with North West, 12, leaving a complimentary comment: 'ur sooo prettyyyy imu'.

Clarifying Family Dynamics

Monroe's sweet social media moment follows a rare public comment she made about her father's expansive family in November 2025. Taking to her Instagram Story, she sought to clarify her sibling relationships.

'Clearing something up, guys! I only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon,' she wrote. 'I do have other half-siblings from my dad but they are all many, many years younger than me!'

Nick Cannon, 45, is father to a large blended family. With Miss Guam 2014 Brittany Bell, he has three children: son Golden, eight, daughter Powerful, four, and son Rise, three.

A Co-Parenting Perspective

Mariah Carey, 56, and Nick Cannon were married for six years, welcoming the twins during their union before divorcing in 2016. The co-parenting relationship appears complex.

When asked about Nick on CBS Mornings on September 24, the five-time Grammy winner gave an icy response: 'I kind of feel like it's best if I don't talk about him, because he can just be in his own world. No offense to him.'

Despite this, Nick has spoken warmly of his daughter Monroe in the past. In a 2021 interview with People, The Masked Singer host called her his 'best therapist', praising her wisdom and honesty. 'She keeps me in check... She's helped me keep it strong,' he said.

The twins recently enjoyed a lavish Halloween trip to Japan with their famous mother. Monroe was last pictured with her father on October 19, when they visited the Knott's Scary Farm theme park in Buena Park, California.

The Emmy-nominated producer Nick Cannon is reported to spend well over $3 million a year on child support for his large family.
