Millie Court's Love Island Ultimatum: Quit Threat Over Ex Liam Reardon
Millie Court, the 30-year-old reality TV star, has openly admitted that she issued a stark warning to producers of Love Island All Stars: she would immediately quit the villa if her ex-boyfriend, Liam Reardon, joined the show. This revelation comes after the couple, who originally won Love Island in 2021, officially ended their relationship in September last year, following a brief breakup in 2022.
A Clear Boundary with Producers
Speaking on Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast after her stint on the show, Millie addressed concerns about Liam's potential entry. "Yeah, I was worried," she confessed, "but I knew that he was focusing on creating a gym. He's just opened a business and I just didn't think that it would be something he would do." She elaborated, stating, "I don't think that that wouldn't have worked on there. Like if he had gone on it, I wouldn't have gone on it, you know."
Millie made her position unequivocally clear to the production team. "And I said to the producers, if he was to come in, I would leave the show. Like, if I was in there already and then he walked in and I made that very clear that I would leave," she emphasized.
Why She Avoided a Villa Reunion
Explaining her reluctance to share the villa with her ex, Millie highlighted that she had already experienced that dynamic. "I've already lived that. We've already done that together the first series and I just thought that's not what this experience is about for me," she said. "I don't want to get back with him. I also don't feel like I need to be in a same like that's just a weird thing to do."
While acknowledging that some former couples have managed it, she added, "Some people have done it, but I think hats off to you if you can do that and be in a villa with your ex, but for me, I don't want to do that. I just don't."
Secret Hopes for Jack Fowler
Despite her concerns about Liam, Millie had a different islander in mind whom she secretly hoped would enter as a bombshell: Jack Fowler. "I said that I fancied Jack Fowler," she revealed. "But like he's like my type, right? Like he's tall, he's good looking. But a lot of the girls requested him."
Second Place with Zac Woodworth
Millie's second appearance in the villa proved fruitful, as she finished in second place alongside Love Island USA star Zac Woodworth. Before the runners-up announcement, Millie shared that Zac planned to spend a "month or two" with her in the UK, with reciprocal visits to the US in the works.
Insights into the Breakup
Insiders have shed light on the end of Millie and Liam's relationship, suggesting that Welsh influencer Liam was the one to initiate the split. This reportedly led Millie to seek solace on a girly holiday with friends. A source disclosed, "Liam and Millie tried to make it work but eventually it just wasn't meant to be. Nobody thought they were going to get back together after their initial split, so they've done well lasting this long - especially as their lives are based in Wales and Essex respectively."
The source continued, "But Liam just wasn't feeling it towards the end and it was he who instigated the breakup. Millie is gutted but is being a trouper and getting on with life, supported by her girls."
