Her outfit featured a polo neck sweater and a matching skirt, complemented by stylish heels that added extra height to her statuesque frame. She carried her evening essentials in a burgundy leather clutch and finished the look with statement earrings.
Hospital Dash Revealed
The appearance comes after her co-star revealed that Kidman had to be rushed to hospital while filming her latest TV series. The actress stars in the new Apple+ series Margo's Got Money Troubles, alongside Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman.
Wrestling Role and Flu Battle
In the series, Kidman plays a pro wrestler named Lace opposite Offerman's wrestling persona, Jinx, with the pair facing off in the ring at a wrestling convention. Speaking to People, Offerman disclosed that on the day of their big scene, Kidman, also an executive producer, almost didn't make it to set due to severe flu.
'The word comes in that Nicole has the flu, and we might not get Nicole today, and we're like: "Oh no, that's such a bummer, because we only have the one day that we've built this whole circus for,"' Offerman said. He added that three hours later, the cast and crew learned Kidman was determined to push through her illness to film the scene.
'She was so pale, shaken,' Offerman recalled. 'She just had the flu really so bad.' Despite her condition, Kidman arrived on set like a 'superhero' and filmed the scene. 'She showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character,' he said.
Hospitalisation After Filming
However, the flu eventually took its toll. Offerman revealed that after filming, Kidman was promptly rushed to hospital. 'She was literally taken to hospital for an IV,' he said.
At the series' New York premiere, Kidman told People she was initially scared about getting injured until she stepped into the ring. 'Obviously, it's so hard, and I was so scared about getting injured, but then when I got in the ring, I just went, "Okay, let's go,"' she said. 'Because whenever I do something, I go: "Okay, I've got to be really careful," and then I just forget about any sort of protection in my body and I go crazy.'
