Pete Davidson has been hit by claims he is facing 'issues' in his relationship with Elsie Hewitt, just five months after welcoming their first child together. The 32-year-old actor, who recently unveiled a new face tattoo after reportedly spending $200,000 to erase his body art, went public with his relationship with the model, 30, in March last year. The pair announced months later in July that they were expecting their first child, and their daughter Scottie Rose was born in December 2025.
'There are issues, but they're trying to figure things out together,' a source claimed to People in an article published on Thursday. Davidson and Hewitt are both 'adjusting to parenthood' while also 'working through the process.' The insider added that Davidson and Hewitt's baby girl is their 'top priority.'
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Davidson for comment but did not immediately hear back. The former SNL star has been open about parenthood after becoming a father shortly before Christmas.
'Dad life is f***ing awesome. It is exhausting and rewarding and cut,' he shared to People last month, before gushing about Hewitt. 'And I'm very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can't stress enough how lucky I am.' The Bupkis actor also said that it is 'very rewarding to see the person you chose to have a baby with actually crush it so naturally.'
He explained to the outlet that he feels very protective of his baby daughter. 'It's funny. It's like I didn't understand this. You're just ready to fight anyone. It's really funny,' Davidson said, before later sharing that it is a 'primal' feeling. 'That's been surprising, the urge to beat the s*** out of someone. But other than that, it's been just cute stuff.'
While spending time in Las Vegas earlier this month, the comedian joked that it has been 'hard to watch porn' now that he has a daughter of his own. '[I] got a little girl. It's weird having a little girl,' Davidson said at his comedy show at the Fontainebleau hotel, per Us Weekly. He revealed that it is 'hard to watch porn... in front of her,' before adding, 'I still did. I power through.'
Late last year, it was announced that Davidson and Hewitt welcomed their first child together on December 12. Hewitt took to Instagram to share the special news as well as uploading pictures of the newborn. 'our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025 scottie rose hewitt davidson ♥️,' the media personality penned. 'My best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief. - elsie. wu tang forever. - pete.'
Hewitt occasionally gives updates on parenthood by sharing sweet snaps to her main Instagram page. Last month, the model uploaded an adorable photo as she celebrated her little one turning 12 weeks old. She donned a semi-sheer black lace dress and held her daughter while a variety of colorful balloons were placed nearby. 'My scottie girl is 12 weeks old today,' Hewitt penned in the caption. 'On the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she'd be born. My guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. how crazy and cool is that.'
The media personality also previously opened up about her reasoning for choosing not to breastfeed their newborn daughter in a candid essay for Elle. Davidson and Hewitt hinted at marriage plans after welcoming their first child together back in January. The SNL alum was asked by Us Weekly if he and Hewitt will say 'I do' in the future or 'have enough kids for a soccer team.' In response, Davidson said, 'Yeah, we'll do all that stuff,' before adding how they want a sibling for Scottie. 'We want her to have a friend, for sure. We love the idea of her being a big sister,' the actor told the outlet. 'The idea of making another one and making a sibling is something I've already been like, "I want to do it again." They're so tiny when they come out, and they grow so fast. It's crazy.'
