Peter Andre Reveals Secret Nose Job Before Music Video

Singer Peter Andre has revealed a long-held secret about undergoing cosmetic surgery just before filming one of his most famous music videos. The 53-year-old entertainer opened up to fans in a candid Instagram video, disclosing details about his "first and only ever nose job" that occurred mere days before shooting the video for his 1997 hit song 'All About Us'.

The Secret Revelation

In a video titled "This is something nobody knows," Andre explained how he had the procedure performed just ten days prior to filming the music video with American R&B star Montell Jordan. "Would you believe 10 days prior to filming the All About Us video I had my first and only ever nose job," the singer confessed to his followers.

Confidence Boost During Filming

Andre described how the timing of his surgery significantly impacted his confidence during the video shoot. "When we filmed the video for All About Us it was so surreal," he recalled. "I remember feeling so confident when I was wearing the suits and that was because I didn't have this big nose anymore and I felt comfortable kind of doing all angles."

The singer detailed the practical challenges of filming so soon after surgery, explaining he had to repeatedly remove and reapply medical tape to his nose between scenes. "Literally before I went on I had tape on my nose I had to take off, do the scene, go back and put tape on my nose cause it was only like 10 days after," Andre revealed.

Historic Locations and Celebrity Encounters

Andre shared nostalgic memories of filming at iconic Los Angeles locations including Melrose Place and the famous Pink's Hot Dogs establishment. He worked alongside dancers who had previously performed with major artists like Missy Elliott and Usher, creating what he described as an "incredible" experience.

Fan Reactions and Past Insecurities

Followers responded immediately to Andre's revelation with mixed reactions. One fan commented, "I prefer your old nose. I kept saying .. he's nose is more pinched," while another agreed, "Was never anything wrong with your nose." However, some supporters praised the results, with one writing simply, "Great nose job."

This isn't the first time Andre has discussed his nasal insecurities. Previously on Abbey Clancy's Exhibit A podcast, he recalled painful childhood memories: "I remember girls that I used to fancy so much and they'd be like urgh look at his nose I remember it all so clearly."

The Robert Downey Jr. Inspiration

Andre explained his specific motivation for the procedure, revealing he brought a photograph of actor Robert Downey Jr. from the film 'Only You' to his Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon. "Robert Downey Jr was just this freaking handsome guy and he'd always be side profile I'm like I want my nose to look like that," Andre confessed. "I took a picture of it, took it to this doctor could you make me look like Robert Downey Jr?"

Reflecting on his decision as an adult, Andre acknowledged, "Obviously as an adult looking back I'm thinking I should have just been proud of it but I couldn't wait to get to the age where I could do something about it." The singer's revelation provides insight into the pressures and insecurities faced by celebrities during the 1990s music industry.
