Pink Cancels Mexico City Concerts Amid Personal Life Speculation
Pink Cancels Mexico City Shows, Addresses Split Rumors

Global pop superstar Pink has been compelled to cancel two highly anticipated concerts in Mexico City, with organisers citing logistical complications entirely beyond the artist's control. The singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, was scheduled to perform at the Estadio GNP Seguros on April 26 and 27.

Official Statement on Concert Cancellation

In an official statement released on social media platform X, promoter Ocesa confirmed the unfortunate news. 'We regret to inform the public in Mexico City that, due to complications arising from an unforeseen event affecting the event's logistics and beyond the control of the artist, promoter, and venue, PINK's shows scheduled for April 26 and 27 at Estadio GNP Seguros will not take place,' the statement read.

The promoter expressed deep appreciation for fan understanding and outlined the refund process. Purchases made online will receive a full automatic refund, including Ticketmaster service fees, to the original payment card. For tickets bought at the box office, refunds can be requested at the same location in the coming days.

Addressing Marriage Speculation Head-On

This concert cancellation news emerges shortly after Pink directly confronted widespread media speculation regarding her marriage to motocross star Carey Hart. Reports had suggested the couple, married for nearly two decades, had separated for a second time.

Pink vehemently denied these claims in a candid Instagram video. 'On my way to a beer, I was just alerted to the fact I have split from my husband. Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell my children? My 14-year-old and nine-year-old are also unaware,' she stated sarcastically.

A Call for Focus on Substantive Issues

The singer redirected attention toward more pressing societal matters. 'Or do you want to talk about some real news? Do you want to talk about the Epstein files, do you want to talk about systemic racism, or misogyny in sports? Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or only my supposed demise?' she challenged. She concluded firmly, 'So fake news, not true. I love you all. Go with God.'

Captioning the video, she reinforced her message: 'Like I always say. If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!'

Context of the Couple's Relationship

Pink, 46, and Carey Hart, 50, exchanged vows in Costa Rica in January 2006. They are parents to two children: daughter Willow Sage, aged 14, and son Jameson Moon, aged 8. The couple was last seen together publicly in New York City during September, though observers noted they appeared tense and were not wearing their wedding rings.

The timing of the split rumors is notable, coming just weeks after the couple's January wedding anniversary. This year, Pink did not publicly acknowledge the milestone, a departure from her heartfelt tribute shared in January 2025.

Contrasting Anniversary Tributes

On January 7, 2025, the singer posted a smiling ski selfie with Hart, writing a lengthy, affectionate caption. '19 years ago on a beach in Costa Rica we both took a chance we weren't sure we even believed in. I'm so glad we did... Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever @hartluck,' she expressed.

The absence of a similar public message this year fueled further speculation, which Pink has now directly and forcefully addressed. Representatives for the singer did not respond to requests for comment regarding the concert cancellations at the time of reporting.
