Princess Andre has candidly opened up about the unsolicited attention she receives online, revealing that "weird men" and a handful of celebrities have been sliding into her direct messages as she navigates her single life. The 18-year-old reality star, daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, left her older brother Junior, 20, visibly cringing during a discussion about the types of messages she encounters on social media platforms.
Podcast Revelation Sparks Brotherly Discomfort
The siblings appeared on the Not My Bagg podcast, where Princess confirmed her current single status. Host Joe Bagg probed into her direct message experiences, asking, "What are your DMs like, talk me through that?" Junior immediately interjected, "I don't even want to know," but the conversation proceeded with Joe pressing, "Sorry Junior, we'll get onto your vibe in a second but I just wanted to know, so DMs are active?"
Junior described the messages as coming from "weird, weird men," looking unimpressed, to which Princess agreed, stating, "Yeah, there are quite weird men." Junior expressed his frustration, saying, "Honestly I can't stand it." When Joe inquired about celebrity interactions, Princess replied succinctly, "A few." She further disclosed a concerning incident: "I had a love letter written to me the other day, it came to my house." Junior added that he and their father retrieved it from the post, prompting Princess to wonder aloud, "But how do they know where I live?" The letter was a Valentine's Card containing the sender's number and Snapchat details, which Junior deemed "weird" and noted the sender would now know she had seen it.
Dating Struggles and Family Influences
Princess recently opened up about her dating challenges on the first episode of season two of her ITV show, Princess Diaries. The series offers a glimpse into her glamorous life and burgeoning career after growing up in the spotlight. In one scene, she dines with Kerry Katona's daughter Heidi, also 18, discussing her love life. Princess explained that she wants to focus on herself currently, citing her mother's tumultuous romantic history as a shaping influence on her views of men and relationships.
She reflected, "I think about my mum, she's had so many people do her wrong, it's an eye opener and so my guard is up. I don't want another relationship yet, I want to be confident in myself first. It would have to be something very special for me to be open about it and post about it." Katie Price, 47, has been married four times and engaged nine times, most recently to entrepreneur Lee Andrews after a whirlwind one-week romance.
Trust Issues and Friendship Dynamics
During her conversation with Heidi, Princess also addressed trust issues since gaining more limelight. She admitted, "I don't trust anyone. Since people have known I've been filming for season two I have had a lot of people message me saying 'let's hang out' or 'we should be friends'. I don't want friends like that!" Despite this, she and Heidi share a close bond, with Princess describing them as like sisters, both having grown up with famous parents.
Family Surprises and Impulsive Engagements
In a related development, Princess and Junior recently revealed they learned about their mother's engagement to Lee Andrews via a text message in their family WhatsApp group chat. They characterized the whirlwind relationship as "weird" and admitted they have yet to meet him. Speaking to The Sun in a new interview, the siblings expressed shock at the surprise announcement.
Princess recounted, "The message Mum sent on the group chat about being engaged…. I literally responded 'OMG'. Mum's very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level." She added that she knows little about Lee other than that he proposed after just one week of knowing Katie. Junior echoed her astonishment, stating he was equally stunned by the news, highlighting the ongoing dynamics within their high-profile family.
