S Club Juniors: Where Are They Now? From West End Stars to TV Feuds
S Club Juniors: Where Are They Now?

More than two decades have passed since the pop group S Club Juniors, later rebranded as S Club 8, decided to go their separate ways. The eight-piece band, formed in 2001 to support the hugely popular S Club 7, carved out their own successful path with several UK top-10 hits and their own CBBC television show, I Dream.

From Teen Pop Stars to Diverse Careers

The group, consisting of Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Daisy Evans, Jay Asforis, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, Stacey McClean, and Calvin Goldspink, announced their split in 2004. Their journeys since have been remarkably varied, spanning the worlds of music, television, theatre, and business.

Two of the most prominent members, Rochelle Wiseman and Frankie Sandford, continued their pop careers together in the successful girl group The Saturdays from 2007 until 2014. Rochelle, now Rochelle Humes after marrying JLS star Marvin Humes in 2012, has become a staple on British television. She is a regular presenter on shows like This Morning and co-hosts The Hit List, alongside running her own babycare brand, My Little Coco. She and Marvin are parents to three children.

Frankie, now Frankie Bridge following her 2014 marriage to former footballer Wayne Bridge, has also maintained a high profile. A panellist on Loose Women, she came third in I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2021 and made her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story in 2023. She has been open about her mental health struggles and is an ambassador for the charity Mind. Frankie and Wayne have two sons together.

West End Success and Life Away from the Spotlight

Other members found their calling on the stage. Aaron Renfree has built an impressive career as a professional dancer and choreographer, working with major artists like Taylor Swift, Little Mix, and Kylie Minogue, and performing in West End productions. Jay Asforis, now known professionally as Jay Perry, has starred in numerous hit musicals including Motown and Hamilton, where he played Aaron Burr.

Calvin Goldspink pursued acting in the US, appearing in the series Life is Wild and the TV movie William and Kate. He remains in the music industry through his company Breaking Sound. In contrast, Hannah Richings, the youngest member, left showbusiness entirely. She previously worked for Barclays Bank and now runs her own childminding business, Little Buds.

Stacey McClean, now Stacey Franks, continued singing after the band, auditioning for The X Factor in 2009. She married ex-footballer Fraser Franks in 2017 and they had a daughter, but the couple announced their separation in November 2023.

Personal Struggles and High-Profile Feuds

The years since S Club 8 have not been without personal challenges for some members. Daisy Evans, now Daisy Shelvey after marrying footballer Jonjo Shelvey in 2015, has seen her husband publicly battle an addiction to sleeping pills. Jonjo revealed the habit began while he played alone in Turkey and severely impacted his relationship with his three children, though he credits Daisy with helping him overcome it.

Both Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge have also been linked to a long-running, reported feud with fellow TV presenter Myleene Klass. The tension reportedly stems from the pop stars' continued friendship with Myleene's ex-husband, Graham Quinn, who once managed The Saturdays. The situation reportedly led to an awkward encounter when Frankie and Myleene appeared on the same Loose Women panel in late 2025.

From chart-topping hits to West End acclaim, entrepreneurial ventures, and navigating life in and out of the public eye, the former S Club Juniors have certainly taken more than One Step Closer to very different adult lives.
