Strictly Stars Party Until 3am After Tour Opener, Hours Before Next Show

Strictly Come Dancing stars reportedly partied until 3am after the opening night of their UK tour on Friday, just hours before their next performance. The likes of EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, 20, and winner Ellie Leach, 22, were among those letting loose at a lavish hotel bash, according to The Sun.

The stars impressed the audience at their first live show at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. Afterwards, Strictly bosses reportedly spent £3,000 on hiring an entire floor at the Malmaison hotel in Birmingham for celebrations. After a three-course dinner and drinks, the party continued as they danced to music played off a phone into the early hours.

Despite staying up until 3am, they had a matinée performance at 2.30pm on Saturday followed by a second show at 7pm. A witness told The Sun: 'They'd spent all evening dancing at the Arena but that didn't stop them. The hotel bar had completely closed and all of the guests were in bed but they were still going at 3am.'

The tour kicked off in Birmingham on January 19, featuring couples from the latest series. Ellie and her pro partner Vito Coppola were crowned champions last year, with the pair repeatedly dogged by romance rumours. Other dance couples include Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Jowita Przystal, Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, Angela Rippon and Kai Widdington, and Layton Williams with Nikita Kuzmin.

Meanwhile, Amanda Abbington has reportedly been left 'fuming' after being denied a place on the tour. The actress, 51, quit the show mid-series citing 'personal issues' and has since been diagnosed with PTSD. Sources claim she is 'furious' at not being offered a slot on the 21-date run.
