Trump's Two-Word Verdict on Melania's Documentary Reveals His True Feelings
Trump's Two-Word Verdict on Melania's Documentary

Former President Donald Trump has offered his characteristically succinct assessment of his wife Melania's forthcoming documentary project, delivering his verdict in just two blunt words. Speaking to reporters about the First Lady's ambitious new film, Trump kept his commentary brief but emphatic, declaring: "It's incredible."

Trump's Unseen Praise for Melania's Project

Interestingly, Trump admitted during his remarks aboard Air Force One earlier this month that he hasn't actually viewed the finished documentary in its entirety. However, the snippets and previews he has seen have apparently made a powerful enough impression to warrant his enthusiastic endorsement.

"I've seen pieces of it, it's incredible," Trump remarked, before drawing comparisons to Melania's previous successful ventures. "She did a book and the book was a big number one best seller, and this is a movie and it seems to be captivating a lot of people's attention."

The Documentary's Content and Controversial Director

The documentary, simply titled Melania, has been directed by Brett Ratner, marking his controversial return to the film industry following multiple sexual misconduct allegations in 2017. The First Lady herself has served as executive producer on the project, which promises unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to her life during the twenty days leading up to her husband's second term inauguration.

According to initial previews, the film features intimate footage of the Trump family and officials, pivotal discussions, private exchanges with influential personalities, and tender moments shared between Melania and her son Barron. Melania has characterized the project as an untold narrative, emphasizing its exclusive access to aspects of her life previously unseen by the public.

Star-Studded Premiere and Industry Comeback

The documentary is scheduled to debut later this month at the Kennedy Center in what promises to be a star-studded premiere event. Trump himself discussed the forthcoming occasion, noting: "The premiere [is going to be] at the Trump Kennedy Center, it will be very exciting. It's a very hard ticket I can tell you, everybody, Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet ... he said last night 'gee I wanna go'. Everybody wants tickets to the premiere. I think it's going to be great."

Following its Kennedy Center debut, the documentary will receive a nationwide launch through Amazon MGM Studios, with a scheduled release date of 30th January, 2026 in the United States. The production represents not only a significant personal project for Melania Trump but also a notable industry comeback for director Brett Ratner, whose career was derailed by sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women in 2017.

Ratner's association with the project has drawn additional scrutiny due to his connection to the Epstein scandal, following the emergence of a photograph showing him topless alongside Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel. Despite these controversies, the documentary appears poised to generate significant attention, fueled in part by Trump's enthusiastic, if characteristically brief, endorsement of his wife's creative endeavor.
