Next week on Emmerdale, a new arrival named Kev will spark trouble for Robert Sugden. The mystery man, an acquaintance from Robert's time in prison, arrives in the village and knocks on Robert's door, leaving him stunned. Robert lets Kev in while checking to see if anyone is watching, and the two are later seen holding hands by Robert's sister Victoria, who is baffled by the encounter.
As Robert gets rid of Kev, he knows Victoria will have questions. The spoilers hint that Robert may not be entirely truthful about how he knows Kev, leaving viewers to wonder what secrets will come to light.
Meanwhile, Aaron Dingle continues to struggle after his husband John Sugden's killer crimes were exposed. Aaron is left feeling guilty when he realizes it is his tragic sister Grace's birthday, caught up in the turmoil over John. His uncle Cain Dingle blames Aaron for John getting away with everything, including the murder of Cain's son Nate Robinson.
Charity Dingle is also keeping secrets, as she is pregnant but unsure whether the baby is her granddaughter Sarah's via surrogacy or the result of a fling with Ross Barton. Her husband Mack senses her unease and questions her odd behaviour, but Charity changes the subject.
Vinny Dingle and Gabby Thomas continue to hide things from each other after their recent wedding. Vinny faces a court case against Mike, who blackmailed and attacked him, and lies to Gabby about the proceedings. Meanwhile, April Windsor's dealings with villain Ray land her brother Leo in hospital, as she struggles with her double life hiding drug dealing from her loved ones.
