Love Island winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare have opened up about their upcoming wedding in an exclusive interview, revealing they are tying the knot in Spain this summer. The couple, who won Love Island: All Stars in 2024, got engaged in September 2025 and are now hosting the Nearlyweds podcast, documenting their journey from proposal to the altar.
Wedding Location and Plans
After considering France and Spain, the couple chose Spain for their summer 2026 wedding. Molly explained: 'We were back and forth for a little while, but you don't know until you view the venues. We ended up deciding on Spain. We're really excited — we got a different vibe when we went to the Spain one. We both instantly were like this is definitely it.'
Tom added that the wedding is coming around fast, and his 'this is really happening moment' came when he went to get his ring. For Molly, it felt real when she went wedding dress shopping. 'I was like I'm actually shopping for a wedding dress — this is crazy,' she said.
Traditional but Relaxed
The couple plans to keep the wedding traditional but with their own twist. Molly shared: 'We're keeping it quite traditional but we're not doing all the traditions such as throwing the bouquet. We're quite relaxed with it.'
Despite their Love Island fame, there will be no nods to the show on the big day. Tom joked about a heart rate challenge and a recoupling speech for vows, but confirmed it's all in good fun.
Beauty Prep and Skincare
Both are focusing on glowing, healthy skin for the wedding. Tom noted: 'We've tried to up everything. We want to feel and look our best on that day, so we're doing everything we can.' They swear by the Shark Pro Glow device (£269.99) for depuffing and reducing redness. Molly also uses Medicube products and Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream (from £28).
Molly's maid of honour will do her makeup, as she has for many big occasions. 'She knows my face so well so by this point I trust her fully,' Molly said. Her foundation of choice is L'Oreal True Match, and she plans to use a good setting powder for the hot Spanish weather.
Fan Support and Nearlyweds Podcast
The couple appreciates their fans, who have followed them since Love Island. Tom said: 'I think the people who have followed us from the beginning have stuck with us. We have a really good following of genuinely nice people who want to see us do well and we're trying to give back to them as much as we can.'
Their Nearlyweds podcast offers an honest look at wedding planning, and fans can tune in weekly to follow their journey.
