Tatcha, the skincare brand reportedly favoured by Meghan Markle, has launched a new anti-ageing serum that claims to visibly firm and smooth skin within a week. The Longevity Serum, released on 18 August, is designed to target senescent 'zombie' cells that contribute to premature ageing.
Priced at £82, the serum features an Okinawa Cellescence Complex, a blend of Japanese herbs and plants that reduces ageing skin cells by 55%. In Tatcha's tests, 100% of participants showed firmer, smoother skin after one week, and 100% reported improved fine lines after two weeks.
The serum is intended for morning and night use after cleansing and before moisturiser or SPF. Tatcha recommends pairing it with its Dewy Skin Cream (from £26) for dry skin, or the new Dewy Milk Moisturiser (£61) for normal-to-combination skin.
The launch follows other recent smart serums, including Medik8 C-Tetra Advanced (£69) and SkinCeuticals P-Tiox Neuro-Peptide Serum (£130). A more affordable alternative is Naturium Multi-Peptide Advance Serum at £27.
