Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has been appointed as the new creative director for PrettyLittleThing in the UK and Europe, in a deal reported to be worth millions. The 22-year-old announced the role on Instagram, calling it the biggest move in her career so far.
Hague, who finished runner-up on the ITV2 show in 2019, has been a brand ambassador for the online clothing retailer since then, releasing three successful collections. Her new position involves overseeing high-level creative decisions, including designs, logos, marketing, and advertisements.
The reality star celebrated the appointment by purchasing a £37,000 Cartier bracelet. Her original brand ambassador deal in 2019 was worth a reported £500,000, with subsequent negotiations boosting her earnings to £600,000. Hague's company, MMH Group Holdings, showed she earned approximately £11,000 per week between August 2019 and August 2020.
Hague, who reportedly reached millionaire status in May, has turned down lucrative offers from other brands, including a £2 million deal with a high street retailer, because she did not wear their clothes. She continues to be a prominent figure on social media, commanding around £10,000 per sponsored Instagram post and maintaining a partnership with Beauty Works for her YouTube channel.
