Molly-Mae Hague paid a heartfelt tribute to her older sister Zoe on Wednesday as she marked her milestone 30th birthday. The former Love Island star took to Instagram to share a series of nostalgic childhood videos and photographs, including shaky home video footage of a young Molly-Mae presenting her sister with a birthday cake.
A Heartfelt Message
In the caption accompanying the posts, she wrote: 'My best friend, the one who gave me all my best childhood memories, who made me laugh every single day (and cry lol), my literal rock and role model... What do you mean you're 30? It was literally yesterday we were crying laughing in the bunk bed in the motorhome trying not to wake mum and dad.'
Recent Events and Baby News
Molly-Mae, 26, who is currently expecting her second child with fiancé Tommy Fury, recently confirmed that a fire had broken out at her £5 million mansion. The influencer was enjoying a relaxing bath when her security company alerted her to a blaze in her skip. She recounted the incident, saying: 'The security company is calling me and are like, "Just to ask you a question, is the fire in your skip on purpose, is there meant to be a fire in your skip?" I'm like, "Give me a second", run to my builder Glen and I'm like, "Glen, there's a fire!" He was like, "Yep, we've got it under control". Basically, the full skip set it on fire. Like, what? What the hell is going on this morning. All I'm trying to do is have a shower and find an outfit for this baby brunch tomorrow and instead I'm Fireman Sam over here.'
Molly-Mae and Tommy are counting down the days to their second child's due date on June 12. They are also parents to their three-year-old daughter, Bambi. The former Love Island star celebrated the impending arrival of her second child with an intimate baby shower brunch this week. Dressed in a chic white co-ord, Molly-Mae cradled her blossoming bump and admitted 'not long now!'. Her manager Francesca Britton organised the party, which included bouquet-making, games, and cake decorating. Gifts for the party included expensive Diptyque candles and fragrance.
Parenthood and Fear
In her latest YouTube vlog, Molly-Mae spoke about the ways in which parenthood has changed her, revealing that she has become 'so scared of everything' since having Bambi. She explained how in the past year she had gone from someone who didn't scare easily to now 'seeing danger around every single corner'. She said: 'A lot of things terrify me at the minute. Since becoming a mum I have become so scared of everything - every time I leave the house, every time I get in an Uber or every time I get on a plane. I never ever used to be scared of anything. Like literally all my friends would say "You're so brave, you're the non-scared one in the group". Like if I go skiing or anything I'll throw myself down a mountain. I don't really have much fear, I'll watch any horror movie, I'll go on any rollercoaster. But in the last year I'd say, I see danger around every single corner. Every single time I leave the house I think something's going to happen to me. Every single time Bambi goes somewhere, I'm worrying that something's going to happen to her.'
Molly-Mae said she believed the change stemmed from the fact she now had the responsibility of making sure she was there for Bambi, saying 'I'm not just living for me anymore, I'm living for a child'.
