YouTuber Gary Hanna, known for his food reviews under the handle @GaryEats, visited Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm Shop and noticed a significant change since his last visit in November 2023. During his recent trip, nearly three years later, he sampled sandwiches and fries, and was particularly struck by the availability of brown sauce as a condiment option alongside red sauce.

Brown Sauce Surprise

Hanna commented on the discovery, stating, "I added the brown sauce, now if you want brown sauce or tomato ketchup. That is amazing. Very unusual for Jeremy he said he’d never have it here." This marked a departure from Clarkson's previous refusal to offer brown sauce at the farm shop.

High Rating and Commercial Activity

Overall, Hanna rated his experience highly, giving it an eight out of ten for quality. The farm shop maintains an average rating of just under four and a half stars on Google. Beyond the shop, Diddly Squat was hosting the Cereals event, a major agricultural trade show. Clarkson emphasized the event's importance, saying, "This is an important event, not just the agriculture sector nationally but for our local farming communities too. Farming is an industry that is in deep trouble. I have the honour to trying to put something back into this beleaguered world."

Clarkson's Health Update

The farm has also been in the spotlight due to the release of season five of Clarkson's Farm, which revealed Clarkson's battle with prostate cancer. The 66-year-old former Top Gear presenter has since confirmed he is in remission. Speaking to the Sunday Times, he said, "I am without a doubt, officially, the world's luckiest man. It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble." On Instagram, he urged men to get tested, noting, "You will have noticed that I'm not dead. The reason why I'm fine is because the doctors caught the prostate cancer early, and they caught it early because I got tested."
