NCIS Actress Katrina Law Secures Extended Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband

NCIS star Katrina Law has successfully obtained a significant extension to her temporary restraining order against former spouse Keith Andreen, with the legal protection now set to remain in effect until December 2026. The extension follows a February hearing and reveals escalating tensions in their ongoing divorce proceedings, including allegations of artificial intelligence misuse and the involvement of Law's new romantic partner.

AI Impersonation Allegations Surface in Court Documents

Court filings from December detail Law's claims that Andreen employed artificial intelligence technology to impersonate her voice and likeness. The actress alleged her ex-husband used AI programs to create fabricated voice messages sent to multiple individuals, including a new romantic partner she initially referred to as "J." in legal documents. Law asserted that Andreen had access to extensive footage of her speaking from her television work, which could facilitate voice cloning through readily available online AI tools.

"I believe that Keith is using Artificial Intelligence to impersonate me, by creating voice recordings - in my voice and likeness - saying embarrassing things in an effort to ruin my reputation," Law stated in her restraining order request. She adamantly denied sending any such messages herself.

New Relationship Revealed in Witness Lists

The Daily Mail has identified Law's previously anonymous partner as Jean Jacques Machado, a 58-year-old legendary Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner with whom Law has been training for several months. Machado appears on Andreen's witness list filed earlier this month, with Andreen describing him as Law's boyfriend who could testify regarding domestic violence allegations.

Machado's brother Roger posted a photograph with Law in March 2025 from their martial arts academy, The Academy Beverly Hills, with the caption "Welcome to Our Jiu-Jitsu Family." Court documents indicate Law acknowledged a month-long relationship with "J." around May 2025, which she said ended before she realized her marriage was no longer sustainable.

Escalating Legal Battles and Custody Disputes

The legal conflict has expanded beyond the initial divorce filing, with Machado himself filing a lawsuit against Andreen in September 2025 alleging defamation, slander, libel, and emotional distress. Meanwhile, custody arrangements for the couple's seven-year-old daughter Kinley remain contentious.

Law initially received temporary sole legal and physical custody on December 24, but later agreed to monitored visitations twice weekly after Andreen's attorney requested modifications. Andreen now seeks visitation four days weekly, which Law opposes, citing alleged abusive behavior and disregard for court orders.

Financial and Stalking Allegations Compound Divorce Proceedings

Additional court documents reveal Law's accusations of financial abuse, claiming Andreen withdrew $200,000 from their joint account shortly after learning of her divorce intentions. She also alleges stalking through tracking devices, with a private investigator confirming a device in Andreen's Audi vehicle.

Andreen has countered these allegations, stating Law has never previously accused him of abuse during their 19-year relationship and suggesting the restraining order represents strategic divorce planning. He expressed disappointment about the public nature of the proceedings and their potential impact on their daughter.

High-Profile Careers and Ongoing Legal Proceedings

Law, who portrays NCIS REACT Special Agent Jessica Knight on the popular crime drama, filed for divorce in August 2025 citing irreconcilable differences after twelve years of marriage. The former couple wed in a Costa Rican beach ceremony in January 2013.

The extended restraining order prohibits Andreen from approaching within 100 yards of Law at her home, workplace, vehicle, or their daughter's school. He is also barred from surveillance activities and removing funds from their daughter's bank account. Both parties' attorneys have been contacted for comment regarding the ongoing legal matters.
