She is set to make a splash in Pamela Anderson's legendary role as the Baywatch remake prepares to hit television screens, but former model Brooks Nader faces two significant challenges: she cannot swim and requires acting instruction. As production commenced, the 29-year-old, who bears a striking resemblance to Pamela from the 1990s series about Californian lifeguards, declared she is plunging headfirst into this iconic part.
Daily Training Regime for Iconic Role
Brooks Nader stated: 'I will surprise everyone. I'm having swimming lessons every day – I have the hardest swim trainer ever. I'm also having acting lessons.' The Louisiana-born former swimsuit model elaborated, explaining her background: 'I didn't grow up rich so I didn't have any swimming lessons.'
Filming Underway in Los Angeles
Fox initiated filming of its remake of the hit show off Venice Beach in Los Angeles last week, with Brooks, who has previously dated Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark, photographed in Pamela Anderson's famous red swimsuit. A source close to the production commented: 'She's landed the biggest new gig on TV without being a swimmer. She convinced producers she could nail it, and has been undergoing intense training.'
Brooks Nader, a model transitioning to actress, generated considerable excitement as she arrived on set looking impressive and prepared to save lives while cameras rolled in Venice Beach. Pamela Anderson originally portrayed C.J. Parker in the action drama series Baywatch.
Coaching from Malibu Lifeguards
Brooks and her co-star Livvy Dunne, aged 23, have additionally received coaching from Malibu lifeguards to ensure authenticity in their performances. Brooks added an inspirational note: 'Chase your dreams no matter how wild they are. Baywatch let's go!'
