Actress Ginny Holder has broken her silence following confirmation of her departure from the popular BBC drama Death in Paradise, delivering a heartfelt tribute to her colleagues and the show's dedicated fanbase.

Taking to Instagram, the actress who portrayed Darlene Curtis for seven years shared a compilation of scenes from the programme alongside a deeply personal message. "Thank you so much to the BBC and Red Planet Pictures for giving me the absolute gift of playing Darlene," Holder wrote. "I loved her deeply, and saying goodbye to her has been far more emotional than I ever expected - I really do miss her."
She went on to praise the show's production team, stating: "Thank you to the incredible cast and crew of Death in Paradise - such a talented, kind, and joyful group of people. Working alongside you all has been a privilege and a pleasure, and I'll cherish those memories forever."
