Hollyoaks' long-awaited stunt week has arrived, with the village rocked by catastrophic explosions during a carnival event. The chaos is orchestrated by villain Silas Blissett, who returns to exact revenge on the McQueen clan and target Mercedes.
In the hour-long E4 stunt episode, Silas meets his end after inviting the McQueens to play chess on an electrified life-size board. Bobby pushes his grandfather onto the board, killing him instantly, much to Mercedes' shock.
Silas is not the only death. DS Lexi Calder also dies after being attacked by Silas while searching for Bobby. Other characters in peril include Theresa and Goldie, trapped in an escape room with an explosive device, and Mercedes, trapped in Silas' underground lair.
Shaq Qureshi and Verity Hutchinson are stuck on a climbing wall after a bomb goes off, while Warren Fox and Norma Crow fall from a great height. James Nightingale faces death at Norma's hands after she leads him to a coffin with his name on it.
The episode airs on Wednesday, September 28 at 7pm on E4.
