In the latest episode of Death In Paradise, Detective Inspector Mervin Wilson was kidnapped and tied up, leading to a shocking twist involving his brother Solomon. The incident occurred during a case in Antigua, which ended with Solomon being imprisoned.
Back in Saint Marie, Mervin is struggling to process what happened and is resisting the counselling sessions imposed by the Commissioner. A first look clip shows the Commissioner and Mayor Bordey attending a party with a journalist who aims to discredit the police force.
The episode also features a murder mystery: a popular agony aunt from the local newspaper is poisoned the morning after her retirement party, while reading her own final advice column.
Daniel Ward, who plays Solomon, hinted at potential future storylines for his character, saying the journey can continue. He praised co-stars Don Gilet and Don Warrington for their dedication to their roles.
