He clarified, however, that this change isn't about being "off the leash" but rather avoiding bureaucratic constraints.
Despite the show's cancellation by the BBC in 2022 to "create room for new shows" after 245 episodes, Dara praised the broadcaster for allowing a "victory lap" farewell. The revival on TLC was first announced in October 2025 and will premiere with hour-long episodes from Sunday, February 1st at 9pm, marking a new chapter for this staple of British comedy television.
