PopMaster originated as a radio show that aired on BBC Radio 2 with Ken Bruce hosting from 1998 until 2023. Since April 2023, the radio version has been broadcast on Greatest Hits Radio. Ken Bruce is a well-known and highly respected television and radio presenter with a long and distinguished career in broadcasting.
Bruce joined the BBC in 1977, initially working as a staff announcer before landing his own show on the BBC World Service. He is perhaps best known for his immensely popular midday radio programme on BBC Radio 2, which aired from Monday to Friday.
