Rebecca Hall & Ashton Kutcher Brave Rome Rain for The Beauty Premiere
Stars Shine at Rainy Rome Premiere for The Beauty Series

Hollywood stars Rebecca Hall and Ashton Kutcher defied a downpour in Rome on Monday night for the glitzy premiere of their new thriller series, The Beauty. The event, held on a black carpet, saw the actress, 43, make a vibrant style statement in a yellow satin dress and matching heels, shielded by a large umbrella alongside her co-star, 47.

A High-Profile Cast for a High-Stakes Plot

The series, created by prolific producer Ryan Murphy (known for American Horror Story and Netflix's Monster series), plunges into the glamorous yet deadly world of high fashion. The story follows FBI agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) as they investigate a string of gruesome and mysterious deaths among models in Paris.

Their investigation uncovers a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection. However, this 'miracle' drug, dubbed The Beauty, comes with a terrifying consequence for those infected. The agents' pursuit leads them to a shadowy tech trillionaire, played by Ashton Kutcher, who will stop at nothing to protect his empire, even deploying a lethal enforcer known as The Assassin (Anthony Ramos).

Release Details and Star-Studded Ensemble

The Beauty is set to air across 11 episodes, premiering weekly on Thursdays from January 22. The FX production boasts an impressive ensemble cast beyond its leads. Supermodel Bella Hadid and singer Meghan Trainor make their acting debuts, joined by the likes of Jeremy Pope, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and Isabella Rossellini.

At the Rome premiere, the cast appeared in high spirits despite the weather, enthusiastically posing for photographs. Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, and Jeremy Pope were among the many stars who turned out to celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated show.

From Graphic Novel to Screen

Based on a 2016 graphic novel, the series promises the signature high drama and dark secrets expected from a Ryan Murphy project. The explosive trailer hints at the chaos unleashed by the virus, showing transformations, violent mutations, and the ruthless actions of The Corporation to maintain control. As the epidemic spreads from Paris to Venice, Rome, and New York, the stakes become nothing less than the future of humanity itself.
