Chrishell Stause's Braless ARIAs Gown Risked Major Wardrobe Malfunction
Chrishell Stause's daring ARIAs gown risked malfunction

Chrishell Stause commanded attention on the red carpet at Wednesday night's ARIA Awards in Sydney, making a sartorial statement in a daring burgundy gown that risked a major wardrobe malfunction. The Selling Sunset star, 44, chose a breathtaking J'Aton Couture design with a deeply plunging neckline, going completely braless for the event.

A Red Carpet Moment

Arriving on the arm of her Australian spouse, singer G Flip, 32, Chrishell put on a busty display in the custom gown. She complemented her look with a messy up-do for her blonde tresses and a glamorous makeup palette featuring a dark smoky eye and a soft pink lip. Her jewellery, several elegant gold pieces from Cerrone Jewellers, completed the sophisticated ensemble as she cuddled up to her love.

Meanwhile, G Flip made their own style statement in a sharp black pinstripe vest that showcased their toned midriff, paired with matching slacks. They completed their look with their signature tinted sunglasses and hair pulled back into a tight ponytail.

Behind The Scenes: Leaving Selling Sunset

The glamorous appearance comes shortly after Chrishell shocked fans by announcing her departure from the hit Netflix reality series Selling Sunset after nine seasons. In a candid interview with Bustle earlier this month, the reality star revealed that the pressure of filming had taken a significant toll on her mental health.

"I've gotten to a place where I don't need the show financially. I'm lucky to have other forms of employment, because it's no longer good for my mental health," Chrishell explained. She expressed gratitude for the opportunities the show provided but admitted: "The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don't want to be bitter about it, even though I'm leaving not in the way that I would've loved."

Creative Differences and On-Screen Conflicts

Chrishell confirmed her departure was entirely on her own terms, revealing that show creator Adam DiVello had been persistently calling and texting "100 times a day" in an effort to change her mind. She acknowledged the difficulty of her decision, stating: "I've vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past... I have to be honest, having come from nothing, it's really hard to turn something like this down."

Behind the scenes, tensions reportedly ran much higher than what viewers saw on screen. Chrishell expressed particular frustration with how editors chose to portray conflicts this season, especially regarding her clashes with co-star Emma Hernan over Emma's boyfriend, Blake Davis.

"I get it, they want to make a light show," she told Bustle. "And if I was doing a show with less problematic people, I can totally see their point." Chrishell felt the editing left her appearing as the "overbearing friend," complaining that "there are so many things that would've completely vindicated me and my opinion, and they left all of it out."
