Fire crews are currently at the scene of a fire that broke out inside a 300-year-old Welsh pub on Thursday morning. The incident has drawn multiple fire engines to the Hare & Hounds pub in Aberthin, Cowbridge, a Michelin-starred establishment.
Historic Pub Reopened in 2015
The Hare & Hounds pub reopened in its current highly acclaimed format in early 2015 when local chef Tom Watts-Jones and his wife, Sarah, took over and renovated the site. In 2021, it was even crowned Wales' best pub.
Firefighters Battling Blaze
Smoke is currently billowing out of the windows as firefighters try to control the blaze. Emergency services are working diligently to contain the fire and prevent further damage.
