Morrisons recall: Cashews may contain glass
Morrisons has recalled its Savers Cashews (125g packs) due to possible glass contamination. The affected batches have best before dates of August 9, 2026, September 6, 2026, September 26, 2026, September 28, 2026, and October 9, 2026. The FSA advises customers not to eat the product and to return it to any Morrisons store for a full refund. Point of sale notices are displayed in stores.
Tesco and Sainsbury's recall: Chutney may contain metal
Fox's Burton's Companies (FBC) UK is recalling Arran Fine Foods Caramelised Red Onion Chutney sold at Tesco and Sainsbury's due to possible metal pieces. The recall affects 195g packs with best before dates from November 25, 2028 to February 3, 2029, and 1.35kg packs with dates from April 28, 2027 to August 17, 2027. Customers should return the product for a refund.
Waitrose recall: Hot cross buns may contain undeclared barley
Waitrose has recalled its Waitrose & Partners 4 Richly Fruited Hot Cross Buns as they may contain barley, not listed on the label, posing a risk to those with allergies. The affected products have a best before date of June 6. Customers with barley allergies should not eat them and return to store for a full refund, no receipt needed.
