"I had a childish mentality with regards to food, especially toffees – but now I'll only have a couple a day," she explained. I thought 'I have to be an adult about this'. The sweets had to stop, and the fatty foods." Alongside dietary changes, Alison Hammond committed to a rigorous fitness routine, working with a personal trainer for five years and incorporating activities like reformer Pilates, which is popular among celebrities such as David Beckham and Harry Styles. She now exercises four times a week, blending strength training, Pilates, and walking. "I've just started doing reformer Pilates and, oh my God, it's so good. You feel absolutely incredible after it," she told Closer magazine, noting how it helps with her flexibility.
The impact of these lifestyle adjustments has been profound. Alison emphasised that regular sessions with her trainer are crucial, stating, "If I miss a session or two with my trainer, I notice it. That kick you get out of the way you feel is so good." She has embraced her new shape, feeling confident enough to wear clothes she previously avoided, and proudly declared, "I mean, look at me, I'm a bombshell."
