An auction featuring memorabilia, artwork, and other valuables from Matthew Perry's estate is scheduled for June 5, with all net proceeds benefiting the Matthew Perry Foundation, established in the actor's name after his death in 2023.

Foundation's Mission

The Matthew Perry Foundation aims to destigmatise addiction and support recovery from substance abuse. CEO Lisa Kasteler Calio stated that Matthew believed addiction should be met with compassion and science.

Auction Details

Organised by Heritage Auctions, items will be on display in Beverly Hills from May 18 to May 29 before the June 5 auction, which will take place at Heritage Auctions’ Dallas showroom and online.

Fund Allocation

Funds raised will support various initiatives, including the Matthew Perry Fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, grants to organisations working with recovering addicts, and the Healing Appalachia music festival.

Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing in the sitcom Friends, passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54 due to the acute effects of ketamine. Five individuals have pleaded guilty in connection to his death.
