Simon Cowell's Extreme £545 Anti-Ageing Treatment with Face Needles
Simon Cowell's £545 Anti-Ageing Treatment with Face Needles

Music industry titan Simon Cowell has never been shy about his dedication to preserving a youthful appearance, and on Thursday, the 66-year-old television personality took his commitment to new extremes. Cowell was photographed by his partner, Lauren Silverman, 48, undergoing an intensive pampering session that involved having his face covered in acupuncture needles before receiving red light therapy.

The Bradden Method: A Premium Wellness Experience

The couple visited celebrity acupuncturist Sarah Bradden for what is known as The Bradden Method, a bespoke 90-minute treatment priced at £545. This comprehensive regimen includes acupuncture, reiki, facial massage, PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, hydrogen and activated oxygen therapy, light therapy, tuning forks, and specialised energy work.

According to Bradden's official website, "The Sarah Bradden Method has been specifically designed to treat you and your individual needs - simultaneously healing you on both the inside and outside. Each treatment is tailor-made; helping you restore balance, feel empowered, motivated, and to look and feel the best version of yourself with renewed mental wellbeing and self-love." The treatment is promoted as offering anti-ageing benefits, brain protection, and ultimate detoxification alongside cellular repair.

Lauren Silverman's Surprising Reaction

Taking to Instagram to document their experience, Lauren Silverman expressed astonishment at her own participation, writing: "For someone who has a serious needle phobia... I can't believe how many needles I had in my face tonight." She shared a photograph of Cowell undergoing the procedure, adding: "Simon had them too! And the red light therapy. Very good combo."

Cowell's Long History of Anti-Ageing Pursuits

This latest treatment aligns with Simon Cowell's well-documented focus on maintaining his looks. In November, he claimed to have successfully "aged backwards" through a controversial blood filtering trend that has gained popularity in Hollywood circles. Speaking to The Sun, Cowell explained: "I go to this place, this wellness clinic, where they actually take your blood, they rinse it, they filter it and then they put it back into your body."

The America's Got Talent judge attributed his rejuvenated appearance to multiple lifestyle changes, stating: "You do all these tests, and they tell you your age, so I’ve actually aged backwards by eating better, more exercise, less stress and certain supplements. My brain is still there, I still have the energy." He also revealed he once considered cryogenic freezing but abandoned the idea after learning the process involved decapitation.

From Botox to Thread Lifts: Cowell's Aesthetic Journey

Simon Cowell was among the first male television personalities to openly admit using Botox and dermal fillers, though he has consistently denied undergoing plastic surgery. Addressing rumours of surgical procedures last year, he remarked: "I think it's hysterical. I mean it just makes me laugh - I haven’t had a facelift or anything. I have had a bit of Botox but kind of nothing drastic."

In 2018, Cowell underwent a £2,000 Silhouette Soft Lift treatment, described as a 21st-century facelift. This procedure involves sewing bioplastic-infused threads into the face and neck, then tightening them to address sagging skin. Reflecting on his aesthetic philosophy at the time, Cowell noted: "For me now, it’s all about having clean skin. If you have clean skin, you look better. But you have to be very careful with some of this stuff."

The former X-Factor judge has acknowledged past overindulgences with injectables, confessing: "There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognize it as me first of all. Eric [Simon's son] was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero." He described a period when excessive Botox made him resemble "something out of a horror film."
