Brit Awards 2026 Red Carpet Glamour Lights Up Manchester Debut

The Brit Awards has made a historic move north, bringing its signature glitz and glamour to Manchester for the very first time. Despite the change in location from London, celebrities turned out in full force on the red carpet at the Co-op Live arena, showcasing stunning fashion and star power ahead of the annual ceremony.

Star-Studded Arrivals and Performances

Among the famous faces gracing the event were Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, EJAE, and Audrey Nuna, all set to take the stage. Pre-show confirmations included Alex Warren, Mark Ronson, Rosalia, Sombr, and Raye, adding to the anticipation. The stars were keen to put on a display, with red carpet looks that wowed attendees and fans alike.

The ceremony will feature a special tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne, with a performance by a supergroup fronted by Robbie Williams. This will be a unique arrangement of ‘No More Tears’, the title track from Ozzy’s multi-million selling 1991 album. Additionally, Brit Awards bosses will honour Stone Roses bassist Mani, with close pal Tim delivering an emotional speech in memory of Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, who died suddenly aged 63 last November.

Nominations and Highlights

Ahead of the event, Olivia Dean and Lola Young led the nominations with five each, while Sam Fender followed closely with four nominations, building on his Mercury Prize success. The red carpet saw a mix of established stars and rising talents, including Love Island celebrities who added to the vibrant atmosphere.

Notable arrivals included TV presenter Sian Welby, who was among the first to turn up, and Fleur East, who looked fabulous in her pose. Molly Marsh stunned in a glitzy outfit, and Marmalade’s eye-catching ensemble drew attention. Ashley Roberts, the former Pussycat Dolls star, showed off in a stunning royal blue gown, epitomising the evening’s glamour.

This move to Manchester marks a significant shift for the Brit Awards, expanding its reach and celebrating British music talent in a new setting. The combination of heartfelt tributes, high-energy performances, and dazzling fashion made for an unforgettable start to the 2026 ceremony.
