Holly Willoughby Launches 'Together' Online Show After ITV Departure
Holly Willoughby's New Online Show 'Together' Revealed

Details surrounding Holly Willoughby's forthcoming online series have reportedly emerged as the presenter prepares to enter the digital arena, having stepped away from traditional terrestrial television on ITV. According to recent reports, the show will be titled 'Together', with Holly filing an application to the Intellectual Property Office that indicates the series will also sell clothing, mirroring the magazine-style format familiar from her 16-year tenure on This Morning.

Production and Vision Behind the New Venture

The 45-year-old broadcaster is set to produce and present the project with support from her husband Dan Baldwin's production company, known for hits like Gladiators and Michael McIntyre's Big Show. An expert commented on the show's eclectic mix of subjects, stating: 'The eclectic mix of subjects very much chimes with this overarching theme of "togetherness" which she’s clearly trying to embrace. And of course the title is bound to heighten the sense that viewers are being reunited with Holly after a lengthy absence.'

Preparations and Strategic Shift

Holly has been actively preparing for this digital transition, sharing fashion and cookery videos on her Instagram account. A friend of the star explained her motivation: 'Holly has done television for 25 years and now she wants to make her own thing. And now daytime television is very much on the slide and it's time for something new. She is excited, it is something so new and innovative, hopefully it will work.'

The television landscape has undergone significant changes, with audiences increasingly consuming content on platforms like TikTok and other digital services. Holly has identified an opportunity to launch a project with future potential, distinct from her past work. This determination led her to decline hosting ITV's You Bet! for a third time, despite having presented two specials with Stephen Mulhern in 2024; the series has since been axed.

Background and Recent Projects

You Bet! was one of three projects Holly undertook after leaving This Morning in October 2023, following a traumatic period involving former security guard Gavin Plumb, who was convicted last summer for plotting to kidnap, rape, and murder her. This crime occurred shortly after her fallout with co-presenter Phillip Schofield.

In addition to You Bet!, Holly hosted Dancing On Ice, which is currently 'rested' with no plans for future series, and Bear Hunt, which Netflix cancelled after one season. A source noted: 'While she still has a good relationship with ITV, she has walked away from shows there and she has no intention right now to go back. She was offered the chance to host You Bet but she declined and there have been other opportunities too.'

Embracing Creative Control and Risk

The insider added: 'Holly has an idea and she knows if she doesn't do it now, she will never know if it will work. Of course it is a risk, but she wanted a change. Not only will she be in front of a camera but she will be in charge behind it, too, and that is very exciting.' This move represents a bold step for Holly, as she pivots from established TV roles to a more autonomous digital production, aiming to reconnect with audiences through a fresh, innovative format.
