A British mother-of-two has been tragically found dead in her accommodation while on a holiday trip to the popular Spanish resort of Benidorm. Rachel Kay, aged 37 and working as a barmaid from Preston, had travelled to the coastal destination with a group of friends for a getaway.
Family Devastated by Sudden Loss
Her family members have expressed that their entire world has been completely shattered following the unexpected and heartbreaking death of Rachel. She was discovered unresponsive on the morning of Sunday, March 29, within the holiday accommodation where she was staying during the trip.
Rachel was a well-known and popular face throughout the Preston community, having worked in numerous local pubs over the years. Her most recent employment was at The Bear's Paw establishment, where she was a familiar and friendly presence to regular patrons and staff alike.

A GoFundMe fundraising page has been established by her sister Denise Kay to provide financial support for the family during this difficult period. The campaign has already received 446 separate donations, raising close to £13,000 toward the ultimate goal of £20,000 at the time of reporting.
Denise Kay posted an emotional message on the fundraising platform, stating: "I never imagined I would have to write something like this. Rachel leaves behind her two young children who absolutely adored her, her partner, her twin brother who has lost his other half, and our mum and dad who are completely heartbroken. As her sister, I am struggling to find the words to even begin to explain this profound loss."
