Mark Epstein's Fiery Exchange with Piers Morgan Over Brother's Death
In a tense and dramatic interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Mark Epstein, brother of the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, made startling claims about his sibling's 2019 death in a New York prison. The conversation quickly escalated, culminating in Mark hanging up on the host after being pressed on sensitive topics.
New Report Allegedly Debunks Suicide Ruling
Mark Epstein asserted that a forthcoming report, currently under peer review by a group of pathologists, will conclusively demonstrate that Jeffrey Epstein's death could not have been a suicide. "They are concluding, and doing the report that will come out shortly, that is being peer reviewed, for a number of reasons showing it couldn’t have been a suicide as they had claimed," he stated. He further claimed the original autopsy was compromised, with the pathologist dissuaded from collecting DNA evidence and barred from the crime scene.
Adding to his allegations, Mark mentioned that the FBI lost critical information by "switching out hard drives" despite warnings. He questioned the official narrative, asking, "Why all the games?" if it were a simple suicide.
Defensive Stance on Epstein Files
When the discussion turned to the recently released Epstein files, which list hundreds of celebrities, politicians, and other public figures connected to the case, Mark expressed indifference. He stated he "doesn't care" about the contents, emphasizing he was not involved in his brother's activities and is not named in the documents. "Whatever I say gets misconstrued to fit somebody's agenda. So I no longer answer questions about the things in the files," he explained.
Mark revealed he had not seen Jeffrey for seven years prior to his death, though they maintained communication via phone and email. He admitted surprise at many details that have emerged, calling it "his problem."
Abrupt End to Interview
The interview reached a boiling point when Piers Morgan, visibly frustrated, asked if Mark cared about his brother's victims. Mark retorted, "These are the questions I don’t get into. Have a nice day!" before hanging up abruptly. Piers concluded the segment by calling the response "extraordinary" and noting it was not a difficult question to answer.
Jeffrey Epstein's death was officially ruled a suicide by the New York City medical examiner in 2019, but Mark's claims suggest ongoing controversy and unanswered questions surrounding the case. The release of the Epstein files by US Attorney General Pam Bondi has further fueled public interest and speculation.
