Masseuse Alleges Naked Massage for Prince Andrew at Buckingham Palace
In a startling revelation, a professional masseuse has claimed she provided a private massage to Prince Andrew while he was completely naked within the confines of Buckingham Palace. The incident, which reportedly occurred in June 2000, has resurfaced amid ongoing scrutiny of the former Duke of York's associations.
Security Breach and Embarrassing Encounter
Monique Giannelloni, a South African masseuse, asserted that she was whisked through palace security without undergoing any checks. She was then escorted to Andrew's private quarters, where she encountered the then-prince wearing only a robe. According to her account, Andrew briefly retreated to the bathroom and returned entirely nude, prompting her to avert her eyes out of sheer embarrassment.
"I got to the room and Andrew was stood there in a robe," Giannelloni told the Daily Mail. "After saying 'Hello', he disappeared to the bathroom and came back in the nude. I averted my eyes and I was quite embarrassed."
Connection to Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein
The masseuse revealed that she was introduced to Prince Andrew through Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker. Giannelloni initially received a call from Maxwell's secretary in New York, requesting a late-night massage, which she declined. She agreed to a morning session instead, during which she found Jeffrey Epstein present in the room.
"When I went there, Jeffrey Epstein was also in the room the whole time and they were talking about purchasing some island for around £20million," Giannelloni recalled. "I thought that was very strange and it was awkward that Epstein was just standing there."
Payment and Aftermath
Following the massage, Giannelloni was compensated £75 from a Coutts bank account. She noted that Maxwell had promised to introduce her to "someone more famous than God," which turned out to be Prince Andrew. Despite the initial awkwardness, Giannelloni described Andrew as "very nice and very gentlemanly" during their single interaction.
"I was so nervous I was in Buckingham Palace," she admitted. "I was going through the motions and doing what I knew, and if there was anything untoward, I don't really remember noticing that except for the fact he took the towel off very fast."
Broader Context and Denials
This alleged massage took place just months before Andrew assumed the role of UK trade envoy in 2001, a position he held until 2011. Throughout this period, he maintained contact with Epstein, who was later exposed as a paedophile. Prince Andrew has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein's crimes during their friendship and has strongly refuted any allegations of personal wrongdoing.
Giannelloni emphasized that she had no prior awareness of Maxwell or Epstein's identities but was "obviously" familiar with Prince Andrew. Her account adds another layer to the complex web of associations surrounding the disgraced royal, though she insists she cannot "say anything bad about Prince Andrew" based on her limited experience.
